GreenEdge Data™ understand the challenges of building a Data centre and the associated strategies that need to be taken into account. This is part of the core of why the MaxEdge™ product was developed.

At GreenEdge Data™ we believe that a Data Centre should work around the customer's requirements not just at the start but throughout the life of the Data Centre. Traditionally built data centres do not lend themselves to this type of flexibility. This is why we developed the modular approach to data centre design.

Disaster Recovery is one of the most over looked areas of risk management in Australia business. The true cost of not adequately preparing for business continuity is not realised until it is too late. Often this is due to the traditionally high costs associated with replicating Data Centre facilities or belief "it won't happen to us".

Alternately audit and governance operating policies may require that a disaster recovery facility, or crisis management capability, be in place in the event that primary data processing facilities are rendered inoperable.

However, few organisations can justify the development of a completely redundant centre to duplicate the primary: most opt for an alternative that will support a critical set of business functionality. The GreenEdge Data product range provides the portability and scalability that makes them ideal for this purpose.

There are many organisations that for various reasons need to have IT operations in remote and geographically diverse areas. Industrial and mining companies are a good example, but are only one of many. GreenEdge Data's modular products provide a perfect solution with their innate portability, the variety of power options they support, and their design for varying environmental conditions.

Many bricks and mortar data centres (whether private facilities within corporations or centres operated as a data centre business) are near or at capacity. GreenEdge Data's products provide a way of augmenting capacity cost effectively, quickly and with flexibly. Solution infrastructure may be either transitional (or hence re-deployable), or delivered as a permanent growth solution.

The GreenEdge Data MaxEdge™ range of products is typically available within 12 to 20 weeks from order. The delivery range is dependent on the chosen design and customer requirements. Lead-time can be quicker if some components are surplus to customer needs (eg CCTV may already be catered for in building services).

GreenEdge Data™ products can be purchased or alternately are available through our commercial rental agreement.

The rental models;

• Are prepared with a range of leading finance providers and are already in use with public companies and government sectors;

• Are fully compliant with AAS17 and pass all audit checks;

• Provide the customer with an off balance sheet solution;

• Offer flexibility to upgrade Product models during the life of the rental;

• At the end of the rental multiple options are offered; Re-Rent new, Re-Rent Existing, or Return.

• Provide 60 month onsite warranty for major components;

• Offer Opex verses Capex finance model benefits.

GreenEdge Data™ has adopted the applicable BICSI standards within our design and offers a fully compliant model to clients that observe this standard.

What is BISCI? BICSI is a professional association supporting the information transport systems (ITS) industry. ITS covers the spectrum of voice, data, electronic safety and security, and audio and video technologies. It encompasses the design, integration and installation of pathways, spaces, fibre- and copper-based distribution systems, wireless-based systems and infrastructure that supports the transportation of information and associated signalling between and among communications and information gathering devices.

In addition all GreenEdge Data™ models are designed as OHS compliant work spaces.
